A LITTLE BIT ABOUT US
Aversa Property Services was established in 2014 by our founder Nicholas Aversa. Nick spent his weekends outdoors mowing lawns and maintaining his neighbors' properties. His strong passion to beautify outdoor spaces transformed his weekend hobby into a full-time business. Since our inception, we've grown our clientele organically through our quality-over-quantity policy. Each year we only accept a certain amount of new clients, and that's because of our mission, which is to deliver the highest quality of service to each of our managed properties. There are many companies to choose from, but what separates Aversa Property Services from the rest is that our team is educated, enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable. We are eager to make all of our clients eminently satisfied with our services.
NICHOLAS AVERSA
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Nicholas Aversa has been working hands-on in the landscape industry since he was 14 years old. He started Aversa Property Services (then "Aversa Landscaping") during the summer of his eighth-grade year in elementary school. During the beginning stages of Aversa, there was not enough work to fill up a full week, therefore, Nick spent his off days working at the local nursery, and on the maintenance crews of some of the biggest landscape companies in his area. This hands-on learning helped him learn about the technicalities of the industry. When it was time to go back to school, Nick spent his weekends working outside continuing to grow his business. He attended Baruch College and holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics. Nick is also a DEC-certified pesticide technician. He doesn't settle for anything less than perfect and finds that his attention to detail has helped separate Aversa Property Services from its competitors. He is actively networking with skilled craftsman and industry leaders in order to stay educated and offer his clients the highest quality of service.

Javier Zelaya
Javier oversees company operations, logistics, and long term strategic growth. He brings extensive experience in property maintenance and service management, previously serving as Landscaping Supervisor for BrightView Landscapes. At Aversa, he ensures every division operates with efficiency, accountability, and a consistent standard of excellence.

Daniel Russo
Daniel leads the commercial landscape maintenance division with a focus on horticultural precision and next level detail. Prior to joining Aversa, he served as Grounds Supervisor for Verdant Property Management. His expertise in plant health, seasonal transitions, and proactive property care ensures every site reflects the refined standards our clients expect.
Design & Build Director | Landscape Architect
Sophia Bennett, RLA
Sophia directs Aversa's design and construction division as a Registered Landscape Architect, blending architectural structure with natural landscapes to create timeless outdoor environments. Her background includes serving as Senior Designer for The Blue Line Group. She manages projects from concept through installation, ensuring thoughtful design, technical precision, and seamless execution.
